Starting from now inhabitants of Avazan village in Gegharkunik marz have a pleasant and comfortable place where to meet, to organize concerts, as well as for important events in peoples’ lives, such as weddings and other family festivities.Today a completely restaured computer room opened in Avazan Restauration and furnishing have been realized jointly by Orange Foundation, “Shen” charitable non-governmental organization and CHF financial support.
Bruno Duthoit, Chairman of the Orange Armenia Foundation board, said: «Orange Foundation continues the realization of charitable projects started before its creation. Our company has a 18-months history of cooperation with the organization “Shen”, and it has benefited to a lot of village communities in Armenia. In the normal social life of each small or large village the community center has a vital importance. So now Avazan inhabitants will have a comfortable place where to get together or for passtime”
In the past the only community hall of this village with a bit more than 25o inhabitants was not usable. Today the building is completely restaured and furnished and can host up to XXX people.
Hayk Minasyan, Chairman of “Shen” Board, said: “I am happy for this cooperation with Orange which keeps going with such success.”
Orange Foundation has allotted 3,480,000 AMD to furnish the Avazan community center.
